Until now, they had only produced those electronic tracks in the studio. But how to perform them live? So they did one jam production and then tried to play that shit.
Here are the tracks produced with dummy drums only.
Next, rehearsing started to check out how to play the pre-produced sounds and what to play on drums. It took a while to learn and coordinate the keyboard parts for both of them.
Finally, Henne gave his unique touch to our recording in the mix
and smashed everything to pieces until it sounded right.
Well, and then the unknown part of our journey began, which was trying to capture a performance inside the studio. We tried different perspectives and ended up with two OK ones. No pretty bouquets, no deep backgrounds, just a super small live-performance.
It took quite some time to get lights positioned and to set up the cameras right, but it got better every try.
See several evenings works trials and errors with early audio-mix versions.
In the end, we experimented enough for our needs. By the fourth meeting, we had the lights quite right and just tried to nail a good, tight performance. We did.
They undertook more voyages exploring noises of live synthesization
and returned with some very raw sketches:
mixing only 45 minutes
exact same 45 minutes
rené on drums
chris on drums
this is a live-mix..

René and Bhrist, the techno-duo behind the project R15120f4270R, produce and perform a unique blend of electronic, industrial, and alternative club music. For this sub-project they are a two-piece, but they do collaborate with various other musicians over the years, especially Käthe and Henne are brought into the game for live performances. Together with Mile on bass and Lisa on drums they form a bigger unit: Risikofaktor.
